The flange ball valve can control the opening and closing degree of the passage by rotating the ball, enabling very precise flow regulation. Compared with gate valves and others, the ball valve has better linearity in adjustment. For example, when it is necessary to mix two or more chemical raw materials in precise proportions in chemical production, the ball valve can control the flow error within a relatively small range, ensuring the stability of product quality.Compared with globe valves and others, the flow passage of the ball valve is usually straight-through, with low fluid resistance. When cutting off the fluid, it can more effectively prevent the medium from remaining at the valve, avoiding potential problems such as chemical reactions caused by the residue of the medium.In addition to the corrosion-resistant performance of the materials themselves, the structural design of the ball valve also helps to improve its corrosion resistance. For example, the high-platform flange connection method reduces the gaps at the connection points and reduces the possibility of corrosive media intrusion. Moreover, the internal flow passage of the ball valve is smooth, without dead corners where corrosive media are easy to accumulate, allowing corrosive media to pass through the valve smoothly and reducing the risk of local corrosion.
